March Mountain High School

March Mountain is a continuation high school serving approximately 300 students who benefit from an alternative educational setting tailored to individual needs. Operating from 8:30am to 2:15pm, the school offers accelerated, rigorous academics with flexible pathways to graduation including credit recovery courses, online classes, work experience, independent study, and limited concurrent enrollment in Adult Education for seniors. Students can earn up to 100 credits through an accelerated quarter system and must complete 180 total credits to graduate. The campus features specialized programs such as Cal-SAFE for parenting students with on-site childcare, Resource Specialist Program (RSP) for special education, and facilities including 53 classrooms, a gym, library, and administration building. With a focus on personalized instruction in a caring, safe environment, March Mountain emphasizes both academic growth and personal development while actively engaging parents through orientation requirements, school committees, and regular community events throughout the year.
